Curated Whiskey Tastings For Your Private Event
How does a curated whiskey tasting work?
Rickhouse Ramblings will work with you to select and prepare a themed whiskey flight of 3 to 5 different whiskies selections. All whiskies must be purchased by the host; Rickhouse Ramblings is unable to provide whiskey for your event. On the day of the event, Rickhouse Ramblings will walk you and your guests through a personalized tasting experience, including a thorough presentation of the distilleries represented as well as their individual histories. You will also receive a step-by-step guided tasting where we help you pinpoint the aromas you detect in the nose, palate, and finish of each whiskey. To conclude our time together, Rickhouse Ramblings will make a signature cocktail, using your favorite sample from the evening, for each guest who is interested.
How many guests can I invite?
The Rickhouse Ramblings Curated Tasting Experience is best suited for groups of 12 people or less, to ensure a quality discussion without being too overwhelming. All guests must be 21 years of age or older…no exceptions. Please experience responsibly.
What is the cost?
We offer personalized tasting events based on your individual desires as the host. Prices vary depending on the tasting experiences you wish to cultivate, as well as any add-on options you may desire for your guests. What locations will you serve?
We are excited to offer our curated whiskey tastings to whiskey lovers in the Winston-Salem, Clemmons, Lewisville, Kernersville, High Point, Greensboro, and other surrounding Triad locations. If your location is not listed, please send us an email to see what we can do to accommodate your party!
What is included in the guided tasting?
Each Curated Whiskey Tasting will include the following:
- A guided whiskey tasting, lasting up to 3 hours, lead by at least 1 Certified Bourbon Steward
- A unique tasting line-up of 3 to 5 whiskies, hand picked by the host
- Signature Cocktail (1 per guest)
- Special Host Gift
Rickhouse Ramblings will provide everything needed for the event (minus the whiskey). This means that you are left with nothing to clean after your tasting. We call this a win-win!
Personalize Your Experience with Add-Ons
If you’re looking to make your party an event to remember, consider purchasing an add-on or two. The following items can be added on to the standard tasting for each of your guests:
- Rickhouse Ramblings tasting journals
- Tasting glass (Glencairn) for each guest
- Flight board for each guest
- Flight board plus 3 tasting glasses for guests
